I had some serious engine trouble, and was given Nick's number at the Municipal Marina. When I spoke to Nick he told me that he doesn't work on outboards, but he took the time on the phone to help me troubleshoot the issue. He suggested that it was just condensation in the gas tank, and I was soon able to fix it with $15 worth of STA-BIL. He even offered to lend a hand if that didn't work, and he didn't know me from Adam. Thank you Nick for your great advice!
Nick’s the real deal when it comes to boat repairs. Took my boat to him after a few issues popped up and he had it running better than it ever has. Straight shooter, fair prices, and you can tell he knows what he’s doing. Super easy to work with too. If you need a good marine mechanic, he’s the guy.
Nick came highly recommended from first mate because they were unavailable. He was amazing. He couldn't come to us on the water, We have a 35ft Pearson sailboat diesel motor, but he walked my husband through what we needed through pictures and phone. When He first found out that he couldn't get to us. Yesterday he helped us out with an issue. And then today we needed and he was there. If I could give him 10 stars I would. If he can do what he did over the phone. I can't imagine how amazing he is working on something himself.... read more
Nick has been great at fixing all the problems we've been having with our new, to us, sailboat with Perkins engine. I would definitely call him again if needed.
