I was very disappointed with my experience at the El Cajon SNAP location. My first concern was the communication. When I initially called, I provided all of my information and was told I would receive a follow-up email with the appointment details. That email never arrived. To avoid any issues, I called again and also submitted a message through the website's contact form. Unfortunately, those efforts ended up being a waste of time. They use the "helping the homeless" for a marketing ploy for funding. They don't actually help homeless pet owners. They make you jump through 100 hoops that go absolutely nowhere, knowing people just get exhausted because we already are homeless, and none of us has the emotional bandwidth to fight a "non profit," lying organization who pretends to be helping the community. I repeat, THEY DO NOT HELP HOMELESS PET OWNERS. It's a scam for donations.
