The best ive ever had. Perfection!
Awesome brisket! Great smells from the moment you walk in. Wasn't impressed with the coleslaw or mac n cheese.
One of the finest of its kind. The crowds who stood smiling and patiently for a beautiful array of meat and soul food were put off neither by the cost or the scarce seating. The employees were efficient and amicable. The portions were great and the memories of that cold night will not be forgotten. If you are within an hour's drive or can take a cab from the airport I urge you to go.
I'm from Kansas City and can safely say this is the best barbeque Chicago can offer. They really need to improve their sides though. The fancy Mac and cheese is pretty ordinary, and it wouldn't hurt to offer a nice seasoning for their fries. I've found that a good spice rub works wonders.
