This salon is incredibly discriminatory!!! If you’re a self respecting black women you wouldn’t dare give these people your money so they take advantage of you and up charge you simply because they don’t like working with type 4 hair. The owner of this salon is flat out discriminating against clients with tighter curls and absolutely should feel ashamed of herself but I doubt she does, businesses like this with owners like her have no place in this day and age.
I would like to take a second and let smoothies know that they are absolutely chafing peoples lives for the better! I know Kaylie, the owner personally and let me tell you, she is amazing! Her whole team is so knowledgeable and respectful of their clients! I’ve had nothing but the best experience and always book my next appointment and can’t wait to go back in! My hair is amazing 🥹🥹🥹 Taylor did my keratin treatment on 04/09, she performed a miracle on my haircut cause I had some breakage in the front from something I did, it was sooooo smooth and silky after the treatment it felt like butter, I have curly frizzy type 3 colored hair with shrinkage. I had the most fantastic experience with Taylor at Smoothed! I was feeling so frustrated with my hair and my curls, after seeing a few videos online I couldn’t resist and booked on a whim. I’m so glad I did and my hair is the most beautiful it’s ever looked. It’s so soft and shiny and I’m so happy. Taylor added in a trim as well to suit my new hair and I just couldn’t be happier with the service.
