Fantastic homestyle fare. This is where Andy & Barney would have brought Helen & Thelma Lou. The breakfast pancakes are heavenly and the homemade apple butter made by Gina's mom is to die for. My personal favorite on the menu is the Chuckwagon Sandwich with homemade potato chips.
Fantastic!! The food was wonderful and inexpensive - the pie - OMG yummy! The BEST part of the experience? The people! They were WONDERFUL!! MUST stop here again next time!
FIVE STARS!!!We love stopping in on our way to TN, we have enjoyed each meal we have had. Prepared with love that shows though the staff that greets you! Potions are filling, delicious meals! Our go to place on our travels. We don’t travel I-40 we turn off in Asheville so we can head to Hot Springs, NC located on the Appalachian trail( so stop in when you are hiking through!)where you will fine this Southern Living and NC magazine gem! It's been over ten years since I've had My Mom's homemade cornbread and pinto beans. I had the "Poor Man's Dinner" and I couldn't have asked for a better meal to finish off this year's hike.
