We came in around 8:00 PM and knew the dining room closed at 8:30 PM. We were informed that to eat there we might have to be out by 8:45. That being said, the window employee was kind and joking with us as we decided to order in after a long day. Our food was brought out promptly and hot! Love their brisket. Ordered the family size brisket almost 2 weeks ago. Well i didn’t get the warm rolls that is supposed to come with. Yeah, know it’s just bread, but to make a brisket sandwich, it’s important. I called and spoke with a gentleman who asked if he could refund my money. We paid with cash. He took my name and phone number. He said they would make it right and that the owner would probably call me. Haven’t heard from him, nor received a credit for 4 buns. I would take a dollar at this point.
Owner only seems concerned about money, not his clients. We were excited to use Smoky Jon’s for catering our wedding. Initially Jon was very helpful, but when he found out we couldn’t afford his top tier buffet (a detail he mistook in the process) his tone and attitude immediately changed. We had our date nearly secured but after his revelation, he stopped returning all forms of communication to solidify our quote. My first time here tonight, will not be the last. Had ribs and a beef brisket sandwich. The ribs fell right off the bone and had perfect smoked taste. The brisket was equally amazing.

We had Smoky Jon's cater our wedding recently, and we were very pleased with the entire experience. Smoky Jon's was able to travel from Madison to Wisconsin Dells and provide a wonderful buffet that accommodated our 300+ guests. Smoky Jon cares deeply about the quality of the food he serves, which is evident when you talk to him as well as when you eat his food!
