This place was awesome. I felt like I was staying with family. Very clean. Loved the rocking chairs on the front porch. Will definitely be back
Well equipped , very roomy and clean. Caters to motorcyclist .
Enjoyed my stay there, the room and their restaurant was great.
Great place. The owners are nice and accommodating. We had a great meal at the Moonshiner grill on the property. Not all rooms are the same. We got one with a fireplace that was very nice. Tell the staff what you are looking for and they will help.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. Booked adjoining rooms for me and my children over a month in advance. Her here and the people that had stayed in one of our rooms stayed a extra night. Instead of them moving the couple they moved me and my husband. In short we were separated from our children. When I confronted the "Owner" I was told there was nothing she could do. Worst experience ever with a hotel. Honestly, the worst.
This is definitely the best place in Maggie Valley to stay! It's a lovely rustic lodge, with beautiful scenic surroundings! It has a comfortable, quiet deck area on the creek that runs directly behind it, and another covered deck out front to watch events. The original part of the lodge was built in the 30's, and is very historic. Arguably the CLEANEST place in Maggie! Fridge, microwave, and coffee makers in the rooms, and some have fireplaces. Most awesome place ever. We love it here. Always feels like coming home. Staff is always friendly and eager to serve. Lydia ,Renee and Eric go above and beyond to make us welcomed.
