What a Beautiful Place they have and it is so Peaceful and Quite right on the Jonathan River.
I loved the fireplace. It was so romantic. The room was decorated beautifully. I loved the bench outside the door. Right in the sunshine. We will definitely keep Smoky Falls Lodge in mind when we go back to Maggie Valley. I highly recommend it. The staff was extremely helpful with everything.
My husband and I have stayed on two occasions. Very nice hosts accommodating to motorcyclists. The Moonshine Grill was great also.
Rooms are big. Clean. Please paint diagonal motorcycle parking lines in your covered parking area; it was quite clustered this weekend. There needs to be a center alley for bikes to get in and out and not block bikes that need to get out.
My husband surprised me with a get-away weekend to the mountains, and we stumbled upon this place. It was awesome! I am truly a hotel 'snob', and a bit hard to please, but the rooms were exceptionally clean, quaint, and well decorated. Our room had a fireplace, microwave, and small fridge. The bonus for us was the on-site restaurant! We enjoyed cocktails and amazing food without having to go anywhere! I highly recommend the Smoky Falls Lodge!
