My in laws live in Mundelein and so we visit often. I am impressed with the types of restaurants that are coming in to the downtown area. Smokin’ Jack’s BBQ was a great new find! The restaurant is set up in a sports bar kind of way with ample TVs all around. The food and drink menu is extensive and delicious. First time here- loved it -great atmosphere -great food - great happy hour and exceptional waitress Cassandra!
We have been to this establishment on several occasions; most of the time the food is great and service is as well. However, this last time we ordered take out, the food was by far sub-par. the brisket was extremely fatty and not good at all; we paid a lot of money for the food and we were very disappointed.
