My nephew was brought to Smokey Point from Good Samaritan Hospital on a DCR. The facility violated the DCR guidelines and was not allowed to put him in a voluntary treatment facility. They transferred him to SeaMar in Tacoma yesterday and he walked out today. He didn’t have a hearing, or if he did we were not notified. They were supposed to notify us of a hearing. They say in their responses that patient safety and quality care are imporrant to them, and clearly it is not. There is a very valid reason why this place has such terrible reviews, you would think they would actually try and make changes. My stay was in 2019 and I hesitated to write a review but after seeing that nothing has changed and even worsened i felt compelled to write this.
