Tonight I stumbled onto an amazing local find. If you ever find yourself in Louisville, check out Smoketown USA. I enjoyed the best ribs I have EVER eaten and experienced that good ol' southern hospitality with the self-proclaimed, "Redneck Jew" Eric. He chatted with me for 20 minutes, recommended some places only the locals know, and made me feel right at home. I'll definitely make a point to stop in the next time I get a chance to visit.
The BEST BBQ and smoked wings we've had in Louisville, KY! Fantastic service. Truly a unique experience. If you're craving some good smoked meat, this is the only place to go in the city.
Our party of 6 adults and 3 children were well fed and treated like family from the get go. Wish we lived closer-great food!!
I Google the best BBQ in Louisville and this is where it took us! Boy was it right! I told the waiter to bring the best food they had! I got a half rack ribs, macaroni and cheese and mixed greens with jalapeno cornbread! Soooo yummy! The people were the nicest in Louisville! Get your GPS out and go!!!!

The food and service just don't get any better, the owner is proud to walk around and chat because he knows he has a genuinely good thing going. I'll be loyal to this place for sure.
