This was one of the highlights of our trip to Louisville. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. The owner checked on us twice. The food was great. Highlights of our lunch included the beef ribs, cornbread and greens. The neighborhood is a bit run down, but the restaurant is clean and tastefully decorated. You can smell the smoke wafting down to the street from the alley. BBQ fans, the beef ribs are legit.
Great BBQ. Had the pulled pork. Got to get the jalapeño cornbread.

I have lived in Louisville for most of my life. This is the best food in town, hands down.
Me and a few of my intern buddies ventured down to Louisville to tour the area. We stumbled upon this hole in the wall place. The whole restaurant was inviting with a rustic look. The old furniture and decorations really added to the personality of the place. The staff was very welcoming and wanted to hear our stories as much as we wanted to hear theirs. Will definately come again if I am in the area.
Found this place while down at a national competition and arrived shortly before closing, without realising, and ordered before noticing. The staff was wonderful and the owner came out to joke with us about the late arrival and was completely understanding of the competition ending late. Glad to hear many others found you all too. The food was absolutely fantastic and I would definitely recommend checking it out!
This place is seriously awesome! The food was amazing and the service was great. I even enjoyed the "yard-sale" décor. Definitely going back next time I'm in town.
