Unfortunately I'll have to give this place 1 star as they were closed during their supposed business hours. I see someone left a similar review around a week ago as well. We stuck around the area for a few hours after initially trying, but they're still closed as of 4pm on Saturday (Facebook, yelp, and their website says this location is open right now). Oh well.
We drove all the way to Berkeley from Concord area and our friends drove from Hayward to try them out. We arrived at 12:30 since they say they only open at 12 on Sundays. Well the place was closed and there was no note on the door as to why they were closed or even if they were going to open today. Not a good way to run a business. A little slice of Toronto on the west coast. I had to keep reminding myself where I was as the music, decor and atmosphere were all-too familiar. The food was great, but I would not recommend looking at the nutritional information! The venue was a little cramped but I can't wait to go again!
I've had the traditional Poutine with gravy and cheese curds. It was delicious!! The fries were fresh and crispy, the gravy was yummy but I wish there was more cheese, I just love those cheese curds a lot!
Loved it! Very generous proportions! Would definently go back! Absolutely delicious!
