Small self- serve restaurant...I had the traditional poutine which had good fries with decent gravy but I was disappointed that it didn't have real curds but instead chunks of cheese. Overall it was ok. Coming from Canada, I'd never seen poutines made with all those other toppings... didn't appeal to me...lol
My poutine was hot and filling, the way it is supposed to be. I had the Korean BBQ bulgoger poutine. Similar to bulgogi fries, but sirracha mayo instead of real gochujang. Also real cheese curds instead of shredded yellow cheese.
Stopped in to see what it was all about. Glad we did stop. It was super tasty
Smoke's used to be one of my go-to late night spots, but now they've raised their prices to ridiculous levels. $5 for small fries, and $7 for a small poutine. Tell me that isn't ridiculous. Will not be going back.
Closed during normal business hours. No sign on the door.
