RecommendedBurnt ends (beef and sausage) and corn nuggets. Enjoyed the friendly staff.

Smokehouse used to be the staple of good BBQ in Independence and the pit beans were to die for. But today I got lunch there and the brisket sandwich had no flavor didn’t look as if it were actually smoked and the beans were runny and tasted like they were fresh out of a van de camps can. I am so disappointed that the quality is not there anymore
the service was decent, the decor was ‘interesting’ but the food was lacking, everything smothered in sugary bbq sauce and cut into chunks., just not the quality you would expect in kansas city... we only went there cause we were tired and had 3 kids in tow. thanks but no thanks
Service was great, sauce and cole slaw were good, but the ribs were tough.
