Despite being called modern BBQ, this place served great classic BBQ. I think they call it modern for the decor...not eating on picnic tables/benches. I had the pulled pork sandwich and my husband the brisket plate. The sides of slaw and baked beans were excellent. We would definitely eat here again.
Seemed fine at first and I love a good BBQ place. My kids (2 of them) wanted pizza from a neighboring business. My wife and I walked in with a small pizza box and everyone (Hostee, waiters, bar tender) watched us enter. I then placed their small pizza on the table (not hiding it). The food was delicious but caution some things hot.! I recommend the brisket and the pulled pork. They were phenomenal. The mac and cheese is very good. The queso dip is a fave, It was favorite The service was great as well. Family trip and 6 people left happy!
