Very disappointed in their customer service! Had a kill date lined up for 3 months. I called to follow up with them today and was told not only did they not have the label, they couldn’t do longhorns after we had discussed that’s what they were... back in April... then was told I didn’t do the process right.... RecommendedMy hubby and I stopped in on their Customer Appreciation Day today. They had a buffet of samples, all incredibly delicious locally sourced meats - stuffed burgers, Summer sausage, Boudain, Bratwurst, pork chops etc.! Super friendly staff. Highly recommend stocking up your freezer or buying supplies for your weekend cookout.
RecommendedWe drive an hour each way to visit Smithville Food Lockers. They process our pigs. The turn-around time is great and the flavoring is phenomenal. They are patient and knowledgeable and we never feel rushed.
I have been taking my calves to SFL for years. Cliff and all his crew do a fantastic job in preparing my fresh beef to my cut order!! I also take the calves I sell to others to SFL, for them to process and package and have not had one unsatisfied buyer !!
We had a family gathering & bought hot links from Smithville Food Lockers and my son grilled them. They were so moist & the flavor was perfect!! Thanks, Cliff, for putting out a great quality of meat!!
