Wonderful experience! I highly recommend going at least once in your lifetime, preferably with the family. Don't blaze through like we did. Stop and linger, soak up our history and enjoy the time spent at this national treasure.
Very cool to see so much American culture exhibited. Although seeing cassette tapes and iPods in a museum does make you feel a bit old. Nostalgia for the old folks in our group and fun for the kids. Elevators were easy to find for accessibility and you could almost always find a bench to rest, which is good because you'll definitely be getting your steps in. We didn't need advanced tickets here.
