Went with spouse for wellness appointment. Put in a room for over 45 minutes with no contact. When PA arrived I questioned why no contact. He got huffy and told me he was with my wife and he guessed he should have spent less time with her. Lab taken the same day. Phone call later said ok with no specifics. Billing for Medicare and Tricare left me with a large bill. Horrible experience. Will never return there.
They are my family doctors office - My brother has a very aggressive cancer he lives in Colorado. His Dr. sent me a Lab kit to see if I was a match to help my brother out and upon calling Smithson Valley they said No they won't draw the blood work whether I pay or not - they don't do other Doctors requests. I understand that to a point but I just needed to have the blood drawn with the kit provided, I pay them and fedex it myself.
