Almost too unpretentious – Smith's absolutely sports one of the best low-key, sociable atmospheres in Atlanta's bar scene. In fact, that relaxed, chatty environment may work against it: the main bar area just doesn't seem right, somehow, when hordes of Midtowners converge to mingle and swap stories, or when a bigger-name act fills the seats in the performance area.
