Outstanding food and service I would recommend this place to everyone I know and people I don't know I just can't wait to come back I had their Caesar salad and it was amazing!
Too noisy. All else is great food and service, a distinctive city history.

Our first trip today was delicious. Gumbo and chicken corn chowder. The cornbread was probably the best I have ever ate and the biscuits the biggest I have ever seen. Can't wait to go back for one with gravy!!
Our food and service was outstanding. I will definitely recommend all of our family and friends to come here. It's nice that it is so close to UNCG.

My daughters took me to Smith Street Diner before I moved to Greensboro a few years ago. Since moving here, I've taken many of my friends and we all love it. It's got that small-town feel, and the food is fabulous!
Had lunch there today for the first time, and the service was great! Very friendly staff and the food and pricing was good as well. :)
