Our waitress was sweet. Food was good. Potato pancakes were really good with sour cream and Apple sauce.
Business response:
Hi Fay! Thanks so much for your review. Glad you enjoyed the pancakes. We love you right back!
Good food, good prices. Great wait staff. Huge biscuits. Wish I had seen that they have Creamed chipped beef on a biscuit, but it was on a dry erase bord in the front and we did not see it until we left.
Business response:
Hi Pam! Thanks for taking the time to post a review. We really appreciate it! Come again soon for the chipped beef.
I am crazy about the food! Great service and atmosphere, too. We ordered the works for breakfast. I enjoyed my huge pancake with pecans and the berry sauce. So fresh! Yummy. Potato pancakes also are so delicious. Highly recommended!!
Business response:
Hi Carla Marie Rupp! Thanks a bunch for the 5-star review. We're so glad you enjoyed and hope to see you again soon!
My wife and I had a very good experience at Smith Street Diner. I hadn't been to this spot since it was Robinson's Restaurant back in the 90's but the staff was courteous, the food was delicious, and it came out quickly. I'm going back and I definitely recommend them.
Business response:
Hi Melle, Thanks so much for the review. We have strived to hold up the tradition. Thanks for coming back!

Hi Katrina, Thanks a bunch for taking the time to review us. See you again soon!
I visited from Durham and met a friend there Monday. The waitress did way too much talking (I secretly wanted to ask her to hush) and when my food came out, my eggs were burned on the edges and raw in the middle, hashbrowns not cooked enough and the biscuit? well it was a very heavy biscuit. I was not impressed. I won't go out of my way to bring anyone there to eat. Sorry but after looking at the Twitter page, I expected more.
It's ok..waitress was nice...food isn't nothing special..but everything was hot and good.
Awesome-ness‼️ The food, people is first class. I cannot wait to come back.
Business response:
Hey Trevor... well, you're pretty awesome too! Thanks for the review. We'll save a table for you!
Good breakfast at a good price. Nice atmosphere. Waitress was pleasant, but not the best at keeping up with stuff. She might have been new.
Business response:
Hi Jeff, Thanks for the review and for stopping in. Yes, we've had some new hires lately. Thanks for your patience!
