I hate to leave the negative review but I have to share our experience. Smith Mountain Building Supply is The worst company we have ever deal with. Graig Miller the outside seller is responsible for our order ; we have ordered the metal material for the under the deck rain roof. 1. delivery was delaying 2 ; we have ordered and paid for 17 pieces of metal and they brought only 16 ! and one of these 16 pieces turned out to be defective . Now we are waiting for delivery the missing piece and replace the one with defect piece fo... read more

I love Smith mountain Supply.They have the friendliest staff. I especially like Vickie Hodges, she goes above and beyond in customer service. Great store and good merchandise and reasonable prices.

I like the store and how convenient it is, but the music is ridiculous (hence my poor rating). I was there Saturday and very loud hip hop music was playing. I asked the employee helping me about it, and he said he didn't like it but has to put up with it. The cashier said she likes the music but has trouble communicating with customers because of the loud noise! This is not what I call professional. Music should be in the background!
