The process is designed to isolate those seeking care from their support systems. I had an ultrasound at this facility once in my early 30s to evaluate suspicious breast tissue. Easy peasy. Would give 0 stars if that was an option. If you're going here for help with breast pain don't waste your time or money. They'll simply tell you "pain is part of having breasts." I was referred by my OB after having pain and what looked like a white head on my nipple. He suggested I get an ultrasound and then a mammogram, if needed. Well they refused to do the ultrasound before having the mammogram. When I explained I didn't need both I was told they "couldn't treat me with less than the Gold standard of care." Hands down, this is one of the best services offered through Munson. The office is ran extremely efficiently. Every staff person is so professional, compassionate, empathetic and kind. This location should be the model by which all Munson services are guided. Infinite gratitude to the office manager and leadership at Smith Family Breast Center for cultivating such a positive patient experience. In person staff were good. The multiple bills for a short visit feel shady. As a patient with insurance I should not need to be directed to a payment plan through a third party for a simple visit.

Imaging staff are awesome. Scheduling and the “system” are FUBAR’d. People at the top who can change this need to realize scheduling, timely reminders (not the day of or the day before), and being able to confirm the date of a previous mammogram are all critical components of assisting women in receiving timely breast health. Women are busy taking care of everyone else, your inability to provide the same scheduling and records competence as my dental office is unacceptable.
