Most are students and yes, they are using us as guinea pigs whether the outcome is good, bad, or the same. My uncle sued and won about a decade ago due to malpractice. They left a scapel inside of him after surgery. A friend of mine sued and won when her daughter became a vegetable after a simple surgery.
