Avoid this practice at ALL costs!!!! The only good thing I could say is that they fit you in quickly. But at the expense of everyone else! I need two extractions and have extreme anxiety of the dentist, which is why I was referred to a surgeon. I called on Friday, and my appointment was made for Monday. The worse place ever. I had surgery last year, after the surgeon left the holes from the abstraction open, I had an infection that could have cause me my life. After that had 2 more surgeries, the last one he saw my cheek from my gum and told me that was another procedure. I told him that I was going to sue him and he said "good luck with that". I haven't been able to find a lawyer that will take my case. As of toasty, I'm not able to get dentures because my cheek is still stuck to my gum

My son was supposed to have an appointment in December. In November, we were told they were no longer taking his insurance and we had to switch to another provider, which we did. The office only has appointment during school (and work) hours. My mother took him to his last appointment, in which they sent my son home with a HANDWRITTEN invoice, stating he needed to come to his next visit with over $1,000.00. AVOID THIS PLACE! The most incompetent people I have ever met. Three times we had to leave work early and pull my daughter out of school. There is always an excuse on why they will not see my daughter for oral surgery! THREE TIMES! One time it was due to insurance , they could not confirm her insurance. This Dentist office (SmileCrafters) in Allentown, needs an Entire overhaul of their scheduling system. 1. Double & TRIPLE booking of appointments. 2. Cancellations of appointments booked 1 month ahead of time, then NOT notifying the clients when they cancel and reschedule their appointments!! Unbelievable! I have asked them to change the way they notify me of any changes to my appointments by sending me an email then I will confirm and we both have a receipt as to any changes. Zero Stars! I can write a book about the lack of professionalism of the staff that works at the front desk in the orthodontics department. They are clueless when it comes to good customer service. In addition when you call in for information or to make a request for the services they should be providing the staff is rude and appears annoyed when you tell them why you are calling, furthermore you can never get the same answer to the same question. If I could I would give it zero stars! The customer service is extremely poor and you have to call many times and leave messages. because no one answers the phone. And if they call back and you don’t answer they leave a message only one time. Then you call back and have to leave another message. Ridiculous!!! I needed my records so I went in person on a Friday afternoon. To my dismay the place was empty and appeared to be closed. Wasn’t going to get my records that day! Absolutely AWFUL!! Their call center is outsourced and to try and get anyone to get you in contact with the office is impossible. Everytime I need something I need to personally go into the office to talk to a manager. Did unnecessary testing per my insurance for pre authorization. Will be changing doctors ASAP and will never recommend Smile Krafters in Allentown PA.
