This is not a place to go if you need an emergency tooth extraction--especially in the case of an infection. According to the receptionist, the only dentist who does extractions comes to town every two weeks for a day. (That's crazy! Doing basic extractions is not a specialized skill. The handful of times I’ve been treated at this office have been excellent. Sometimes it can be hard to get an appointment due to typical rural issues like staffing, but in general they aren’t scheduled as far out as other locations in Salem and Portland. The assistants here are all kind and warm, and I don’t feel judged at all. My parents didn’t take me to the dentist growing up, so being in the dentist chair can be anxiety and inner shame-inducing. Great, local practice. Fast, friendly, efficient & knowledgeable reception & providers! It's REALLY hard to find good dental/health out at the coast. And with someone like me, with ongoing dental issues, I was very glad that this practice could work me in as a new patient. Speaking of "patient"...Lincoln City is not the "big city."
