It seems all smile design dentistry offices run the same cheme. To upsell and force deep cleaning. They recommend it to everyone, and will not allow you regular cleaning unless you do deep cleaning first. This is the 3rd time it has happened with smile design dentistry. Every time I went to a different dentist for 2nd opinion and was told there is absolutely no need to have deep cleaning done since my teeth are just fine. This is how they make money. I don’t recommend this practice. I have been going for years and ever since Dr. Wyatt left, it’s been a horrible experience since then. They never give you confirmation of when your appointment is. Not to mention, they never send you information about their coverage/provider changes. I went in today thinking that my insurance was going to cover and it was a provider they accepted just for them to tell me that it is out of network.
