I took my 2 year old train-loving son here for the first time and he actually loved it so much and is asking to go back. Dr. Matt and Roxie were both caring and very gentle and actually got my son to lay there and be completely relaxed the whole time. Highly recommended!
The staff were very kid friendly and explained everything so my child could understand. My child had to have a procedure for his first visit which was wonderful! We could not have asked for better
I have a rare kiddo who loves going to the dentist and looks forward to each visit, even before trying out this dentist office. But she was especially thrilled when she found out she could play video games in the waiting room and watch cartoons while in the chair. I, however, was impressed with the interaction between the staff and my daughter, keeping her informed of all that was going on, as well as talking to her like a friend. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a pediatric dentist!
Sons first dentist appointment. Not much wait time, super great hygienists, great doctor, exceeded my expectations.
This was my 2-year-old daughter's very first dentist experience...and it couldn't have gone better! From the receptionist greeting my daughter and talking with her about her Anna doll to Dr. Rick Carstens himself, everyone was SO friendly! Dr. Rick took the time to hold my daughter's hand and get to know her first before beginning the exam, which I appreciated. She was so happy when we left that she asked to come back again! This is the email I sent Smile Station: I want to thank all of you for making going to the dentist a fun and calm experience for children. I brought my 2 1/2 year old in a week ago for her check-up and cleaning. Everyone from the hygienist to the dentist were all professional and great with my daughter. That night at dinner, Harper shared her high for the day - going to the dentist. That's what you do for children. All of you make going to the dentist a positive experience. Thank you for that!!!

Dr. Hohenstein is amazing. He is so great with the kids. He gives awesome recommendations. When he needs to be stern about something, he will is stern. We just love going to Smile Station.
Any parent of Smile Station patients can say my kids LOVE going to the dentist!! It doesn't matter if it's for a six-month checkup or to have teeth pulled (as my 8 year-old did recently), kiddos cannot wait to go.
