Buyers beware!!! As a naive military member serving in Norfolk, VA I was getting deployed and leaving my pregnant wife at home. My air conditioning unit in my home went out right before I had to leave so I had SMI Mechanical come out and give me a quote. I wasn't smart enough to get multiple quotes and their swindling salesman sold me on a $11,072 unit. A Bumpy Road But One Headed in the Right Direction About six or seven years ago, SMI Mechanical did a complete install of an HVAC system in my old house, a house built in 1908; one can imagine the extensive work required.
