We rented out a unit while we were moving in between houses this year. We wanted to find a storage unit that was indoor and climate controlled to ensure that our items were protected against the elements. Unfortunately we lost a lot of our belongings by choosing Oshawa smart stop. We cleaned out our unit in June and found feces and urine all over our unit. So I heard about the exponential price increases. Here to say it's true. Just go my first notice in the mail. My promo rate which no where in the contract does it specify a duration has went from $46 to $125. Based on this I'm expecting another 200% price increase in three months so I will be slowly getting my stuff out of here before then. My suggestion is to combat their business model by renting short term for 3 months and that's it.
