Ryan Foster is so amazing, he was so attentive to my concerns and answered all my questions without hesitation. more people should be like him.
So day one into our property going to smartrent and let's just say I rather be without it. The apps don't work 80% of the time and same with alexa so much for smart home feature. can't control the thermostat with the app out reached to support and even the guys who installed it and still doesn't work. Got locked out on first day because the the default code they sent was 6 digits and I changed 4 and more personal but the lock doesn't realize you change it and remains on the default. The customer service is awful. The app doesn't work more than half the time. No one who created this app or works for it cares at all. As a tech company, they should realize this an entry to HOMES with WIFI that can disconnect. Even with support, most of the time it can only be fixed by your apartment complex office, and if it's outside hours, oh well! And no, not everyone can connect with an Ethernet cable (but that's not going to help you change the code if it doesn't work anyway). So great news there! The people on the ot... read more
My apartment complex just install this smartrent on my place today. I like it! I don't have to use or carry a key. One of the field installation manager Trevor Brown was very nice and pleasant in helping me figure it out. Him and his crews also help carried my stuff into my home. They're working nearby and I was able to catch them without having to deal with the apartment manager since I was in a rush as well. The new smartrent lock and the crew made my day. Thank you
