We have had issues with this company since we signed in May 2023. We have asked for basics, such as receipts, warranty information, and why our panels are not working properly. They said it was taking time to provide because these are not normal requests. They invoice they provided was wrong. The salesperson told us the production of each panel at any time would be visible to us, however, 5 months in this is not the case. My system was installed in 2 days and working great. I noticed a low month of production and reached out to their support ***** They took care of me like I was a brand new customer in a timely manner and was very professional in their communication.
Had solar panels installed almost a year ago. The experience was excellent. Installers were friendly and completed the work quickly and professionally. Our solar panels have been producing more electricity than expected, and the emergency power system we got gives us a lot of peace of mind. Would highly recommend.
Smart wave was the one company that made it make since to go solar. They also gave more value than other companies with backup power options.

***RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN***When I first signed on with Smart Wave in late Jan, 2023 I was excited for my project. My consultant ****** did a great job of explaining exactly what the process would be and how their equipment was better.On two occasions when they showed up for install the plans were incorrect. Their installer even said he wouldn't sign off on it, if he were in my shoes. Next, they told me they resolved the errors with the plans. Really poor Service. If you run inot a problem you can not get any help. I started the process the first of May. My system Smart Wave put in apparantly does not pass code. It is know December.
I started the process of having solar panels in stalled in June. It took over 10 months to get the project functioning. Ten months of excuses and broken promises. I was told over a week ago that I would receive a call for a work order, I am still waiting to be contacted. This company does not seem motivated to fulfill their obligations, or provide a reasonable amount of customer service. We adamantly would NOT recommend Smart Wave Solar. We signed a contract with them in June of 2022 and still do not have solar working at our home. We are now paying for solar, and we are not able to use our solar panels. The company will respond quickly and come out, but they just dont seem to get things working. The first delay was because they could not get the panels they sold us, so they had to order different ones. They were installed in October.
