I don't understand the inconsistency with service as this location. It is either great, or horrible............I don't think I will be back.

They were patient and answered all of my questions. I met the assistant store manager, and many other vital employees. What a great team you all are. Thank you Smallcakes of Cary!!! Happy New Year!! Stopped by on a lark for some Harry Potter-themed cupcakes. Very inventive, very tasty!
Came in today for the special Harry Potter event and absolutely LOVED the cupcakes. Not only did they look fabulous but they tasted fabulous. I was a bit nervous that some of the flavor were going to be over powering but they were just right!
The customer service was horrible. The girl who worked Saturday, July 14th in the afternoon was belittling. She spoke too quickly and then when asked to repeat herself, she spoke to me as if I were a child learning English for the first time. I asked for the GF recommendations and she could not provide me with an answer.
UPDATE - The owner contacted me about the peanut issue and offered us a free dozen cupcakes. Each was deliciously peanut free! I am now a happy customer who will go back. ——- We bought cupcakes here and found part of a Reese’s peanut butter cup in the Oreo crumbles. I have a peanut allergy so we threw all of our cupcakes away. I reached out to Smallcakes but never received a response. We will not be going back.
