Their cupcakes are great but I'm often disappointed because they run out of whoopie pies and cupcake flavors quickly and don't make more. At least 3 times I've went to find out they didn't have something and left empty handed. Once I asked if they could just frost a different flavor with some vanilla icing and was told they didn't have any vanilla icing. How is that even possible at a cupcake shop? Hi there Whitney, we are very sorry to hear that you haven't had a positive experience at Smallcakes. However, we do tend to run out of flavors as the day goes on because we bake fresh each morning. If you would like to assure we have what you need, we would be more than happy to set them aside for you in the morning if you would like to call ahead! Always delicious! They always have a good variety of flavors!
I just love their cupcakes. Never been disappointed. Though I know my brother was disappointed when his dog got on the counter and ate all his birthday cupcakes but she clearly seemed to enjoy them as well. Lol although I wouldn't recommend you to give them to animals obviously.
