Great first visit. Staff explained well, were very kind.
An amazing top class experience. My dog has panicked at every other vet and loved it here. The staff is very intelligent and able to collaborate in order to make sure my dog was calm and happy through the whole experience. It was also amazing that they put your bill up on a screen so you can verify services before paying.
Wish I could give 0 stars. Do not trust them. Sure, front desk staff are friendly. But as an actual veterinary clinic? Incompetent, never look at their own records, and can jeopardized your pet's health as a result. Whether this Brookline location or the Newton Centre location - stay away for you and your pet's sake.
When I was choosing a vet for my new kittens, it was important to me that they went somewhere where they would feel as comfortable as possible. I have had such consistently good experiences each time I’ve gone to Small Door, I can’t even imagine going to another vet. I adopted a six year old cat Chestnut 6 months ago and she has stage 2 kidney disease and hypertension which has meant we’ve visited the vet quite a bit. They have made me feel so much better with each visit, taking her symptoms seriously, being transparent about costs and recommended treatment, including which were optional.
