Over cooked the baby back ribs. Cornbread better than most northern States cormbread, but nothing like down south. Good service. Wouldn't get baby back ribs again though.
Service was excellent from the moment we walked in until we left. The lady who sat us down was cool and friendly and our waiter was very attentive, nice, and funny too! The place is cool-looking. I loved the atmosphere and the food was delicious. We were 4 people and we all shared. Best BBQ ever! Meat comes off the smoker with just the dry rub then you get to experiment with 5 of thier homemade BBQ sauces that are on the table!
Delicious food, nice selection of beers and other drinks, great atmosphere. If you have a taste for barbecue and you are in the Detroit area, this place is a 'must'.
First we had a carryout order and the bartender was very rude he made us wait a very long time before taking our order acted like he just didn't give a care and food was not at all what we expected didn't get any silverware or bread or extra sauce nothing and also got an upset stomach so goodbye to you and your crappy waiter and it was our first time trying it never to return thanks anyway
If I had to choose a last meal it would be THE REASON on a Keiser Roll and cornbread. Then bury me in the lot out back. LOVE this place !
Was targeted by thieves that busted my windows out and stole my radio. Then I went again and was ticketed for parking within in the yellow... had no idea I was in a no parking zone on the side of the building within yellow. Only one ticketed... still not sure why. No signs... I'll never pay, I'll never go back. Food is only okay, but the service was good.
I couldn't find any thing to complain about. I will be returning soon.
In town for business and I'm extremely glad I decided on Slows for dinner! Great beer selection, friendly staff, tasty & unique sauces,...and possibly the best sandwich I've ever had - the Yardbird! Do yourself a favor and stop in when in Detroit!
