Both of us got the $13 pulled pork dinner with mac n cheese, mashed sweet potatoes & waffle fries. I like that the pulled pork is served dry - you can choose your own BBQ sauce to drizzle on top (Apple was the best by the way!!). The mac n cheese was great - a smokey pepper & cheddar baked on thick shells. The mashed sweet potatoes were perfect, not too sweet and didn't have any of the stringy pieces that you get with sweet potatoes. Wish we lived closer, it was a great place! I had Beef Brisket - it was okay. The waitress got my order wrong but the server corrected it quickly.
The service was wonderful, the macaroni and cheese was fabulous. The string beans were very tasty the corn bread was enough for 3 meals. The chicken uneventful, the pulled pork lacked flavor, and the beef brisket just average. Maybe I should have tried the ribs.
Excellent food, great servers. This was my family’s first time here and we will definitely come back for more.
