I have been into the shop on several occasions and have been impressed every time. They have gone far above expectations to help me, have always taken time to answer any questions I may have, and the price for service and equipment is very fair.
I have shopped here several times now and have received top notch service every time. Jason and Corey are both extremely knowledgable and friendly throughout the buying process. My girlfriend recently made her first mountain bike purchase here as well and is extremely satifised with her new Liv! You certainly have multiple options when it comes to bike shops in the bangor area, but these folks are striving to provide unparalled customer service in order to set themselves apart from the competition and it shows.

Words don’t do justice to describe the level of customer service provided at Slipping Gears! I recently purchased a trainer for my husband, the guys took their time explaining the different options, pros/cons of each model and even assembled the unit for me before leaving the shop. When the unit wasn’t working properly, we brought it in and they troubleshooted and got us going with a more efficient unit.
