Every experience I have had at Sling Blades is SIMPLY WONDERFUL. The atomsphere is calming and inviting. I followed my stylist, (Shelly who is wonderful by the way - in every way - cut to color to conversation) and have loved the change. I was resistant at first, but am so happy with Sling Blades as it is so professional while relaxed at the same time. The staff is always up to date on products, techniques and styles. best color and haircut – I recently had my hair cut and hi-lighted here. Jennifer was the stylist and she was great at giving me new ideas and listening to mine. My color and cut is the best it has ever looked. She texterized my boring bob into a very easy yet edgy cut and the color really sets it off. Not only is my hair great the salon as a nice friendly feel also.
Top of the line!! – I just got a layered cut and highlights here from my stylist Rachel. She did a fantastic job! She was so willing to take time to consult with me about what I wanted and also took time to get to know me. She was super sweet and extremely talented. I FOUND MY NEW SALON!! – I moved to the area about 2 years ago and have been searching for a new salon ever since. after many failed attempts i came across sling blades, so i decided to give it a try.. i wanted to get something a little "edgy" so i took a picture in with me of what i wanted. my stylists name was Leigh, and she took the time to go over what was in the picture and tell me how she thought it would look on me. she gave me some advice on what parts of the cut would work with my hair type. The Best cut and color I have had in my life – I came into the salon as a hair model. Rachel was my stylist and she did an amazing job on my color and cut. It was the best I ever had, and trust me, I have had every color and style out there. The cut is so cute and choppy and the color really complements my skintone. The highlights look perfect and my boyfriend just loves it. I will definitely come back. Make sure you see her because this girl has skill! Plus, she was really sweet and made me laugh a lot.
My look no longer screams "mom!" – So I was al ittle scared of color... terrified actually. Rachel was gentle and encouraging and listened to me! I ended up with a great cut and color that even my teenage daughters like! I get compliments every day about my new hairstyle. The atmosphere was relaxing and fun at the same time and I cam away looking with a sassy new look without my fall back ponytail. Two weeks later, I still love it! BEST NEW HAIR SALON IN AREA – What a great salon--elaborate in design with cool comfort. The staff is so professional and treats their clients like royalty. It is a special treat to get my hair styled by Kathy Jacobs. She is so talented in cutting my hair that I am frequently asked for referrals--people I meet in public places say the cut is so stylish and they have been looking for someone to create that style.
