Best coffee I know of. Love going there. A 1 1/2 hour drive for us is worth the trip. Love the atmosphere , the people, but most of all, the beans. We stock up. It doesn't hurt that it's in one of Oregons best small towns ever. Proud to be an Oregonian and happy Sleepy Monk calls our coast home. Would give 5 stars but the cookies were a hint on the dry side. I hate to even mention it because I don't go there for the cookies. But none the less an honest review.

The homemade chocolate whipped cream is unbelievably good!
You will never find better coffee, better service or a homier environment to sit and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and one of their amazing baked good. When your there you are treated like family.
I went in on our last visit and they were so helpful with helping me pick out a blend =) just wish I bought more. I'll be back in 2 weeks and I plan on buying a couple lbs this time.

These ladies are the best there is! Always delicious pastries and coffees that are heavenly! We always make a special trip to Cannon Beach just so we can get some coffee and yummy treats before we head north to the beach house. The ladies here really do care about each and every one of their customers. They love what they do and it shows! SLEEPY MONK IS THE BEST OF THE BEST!

Were from Montana and this is the only place we go for coffee and bake goods. We start each morning of with a cup of wonderful coffee and some sort of fresh baked item. We then head out for our long awaited walk on the beach! The Sleepy Monk has the best atmosphere and GREAT FRIENDLY staff!
I got Druid's Delight with soy and it was one of the best coffees I've had! (I'm a barista so I can be very picky). Not to mention the best customer service I have had! The woman at the till was so sweet and made you feel so welcome! Very busy shop but so worth the wait. Maple bars are to die for also!
