First, we called the direct hotel number and requested two adjoining rooms. We were told that would be no problem. When we arrived, however, we were told they didn’t have adjoining rooms. So they gave us two separate rooms, which didn’t really help us since we have several children. Beds are hard, but nice, spacious and clean rooms!
Left a pair of black FHSU sweats there this morning, wrapped in the bedding, called back and they didn’t have them turned in. I figured they were stolen but it’s disappointing nonetheless, we live an hour away I could have gotten them as early as tomorrow... I hope the “head housekeeper who is really honest” brings them back and I get a phone call. 785-533-1225.
We stopped at this hotel last night and I’ve never been to a hotel as filthy! I’ve traveled quite a bit this past month and stayed at at least 10 hotels (Hilton,Hampton, holiday inn, Sheraton, and sleep inn in Tennessee) Our bathroom at the sleep inn hays was dirty, the room stank, and to top it off my son was welcomed by a roach in his bed. Pre-booked a room for a softball tournament. Hays, KS was flooded due to extensive rain. Tournament had to be moved to over an hour and a half away. Sleep In local management refused to work something out with us so we lost about $200. Called Choice Hotels (parent company) and they said that was local management’s choice!
