I chose this eye doctor because of the good reviews and I prefer to support family owned business. The nurse that took me back was wonderful and nice but the rest of the staff was not. The nurse did a great eye exam and got my prescription dead on. However, when the doctor came into the room the appointment started to go downhill. He dodged my questions and spoke only condescendingly to me. I told him I practiced good contact hygiene and he didn’t seem to believe me and gave me a lecture on proper care of contact lenses. RecommendedDr. Slatten took the time to discuss my vision with me and provided options to help the issues I was experiencing improve. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. Today, I had to request a very last minute appointment because I had mildly injured my eye overnight. I was able to get an appointment and treatment for my eye and I'm so grateful to everyone at Slatten Eye Care.
RecommendedSo, I purchased an eye exam off of Groupon not really sure what to expect. I have to say though, I was very impressed with the staff the office and the service I received!! They are really the nicest people ever and the prices on their frames and lenses were reasonable. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a new optometrist. I will be going to dr. Slatten from now on :))
Great friendly informative staff. Dr. Slatten was awesome. Fast and to the point. Thanks from a Texas girl who was gonna drive back home to see her optometrist because I’ve been with him for years. I now have two awesome docs and staff in two states.
I had never had my eyes done anywhere but LensCrafters. Dr. Slatten is extremely knowledgeable and professional. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Their prices and customer service are hands down 100% been then any other place I've ever been to. I recommend everyone going to Dr. Slatten.

Dr. Slatten is caring and attentive to your eye care needs. He checked on me 3 times to see if my contacts were feeling good before I left. And his staff is great! Super friendly and helped me find the best deal on contacts and lenses for my glasses. I live in north OKC and won't mind the 30 minute drive next time because my first appointment was great!
