The house I rented from Slatehouse was condemned due to landlord neglect in August 2021, leaving my family homeless for over a week. Slatehouse has still not returned our deposit, the prorated rent i prepaid, the hotel bill for when we were homeless, the dog boarding bill (I have 3 dogs, can’t have them in a hotel, it’s against policy), and the interest for not paying back the deposit in a timely manner. Contacted them over a month ago about my refrigerator not working properly and have never heard a word since, it's fully broken and all my groceries were ruined. We've only been here two and a half months . Their towing company has already towed my vehicle twice $600 out of pocket smh there are mice everywhere, it's disgusting!!!!

They are very unprofessional and don’t want to do maintenance work I have a broken window because the windows are not properly installed. Broken ceiling with leaking water No electricity because there previous tenant damage the box and was stealing electricity and won’t get an electrician to come fix the problem it’s hot in these apartments and I have young children who haven’t had hot meals because no one wants to respond

I've been trying to see a place to see if I want to take it. I pick a time slot only to get an email saying that Sean needs to reschedule. I picked another slot and the same happens so I email him. I get no response. I pick another slot and the same happens again. Then, I get a follow up email as if I have not been trying to see the place. Whoever owns this property should get a new property manager.

We have been without air conditioning for weeks. It has been nearly 90 degrees every day DOWNSTAIRS in this house. Mind you we have CHILDREN & a pet inside the home, Not just adults. Although adults shouldn’t have to deal with this sort of nonsense either. Upstairs is even hotter to the point where it almost feels like you cannot breathe. They say they’re going to send someone out and DO NOT. AC tech comes one day, says he will be back - it’s been days and he hasn’t been back to finish fixing it.
