Barista interpreted what I wanted and brewed an Ethiopian single origin in a Kalita wave to perfection. Her coffee recommendation was superb. In fact, the best pour over I’ve had to date. I love walking into a cafe and feeling like the barista cares about me, and about what I want. In a sea of pretentious coffee shops in Seattle, Slate manages fantastic craft roasting without sacrificing hospitality.
This Place Is Amazing! I've Had Slate Coffee Before But Had Never Ventured To One Of Their Shops Until This Week. The Coffee Is Some Of The Best I've Ever Tried! The Shop Has A Welcoming And Totally Chill Atmosphere And The People Brewing The Coffee Were Super Cool! Most Definitely Going To Recommend This Place!
I am not a sophisticated coffee person but I truly enjoyed the deconstructed! Also, I wasn't much of a milk drinker , but the ingredients are excellent and I love the milk used.
I trying anew coffee shop every day for the last 4 weeks n find myself returning to Slate Coffee Roasters. I think they have the best coffee in the Seattle area. Cool little shop, friendly, fantastic coffee try the Ethiopian doppio. Enjoy
Intimidating if you're looking for a large menu of designed drinks. We got the deconstructed latte which was their specialty. This really showed how the flavors of their espresso and grass fed milk really play off of each other for a latte that is smooth rich and creamy.
My boyfriend and I came in yesterday for the most exceptional coffee experience! The coffee is unlike anything I have ever tasted. My boyfriend and I will be back for sure! Thank you!
