My name is Brian Slater I am 46 yrs old and have been a life long drug addict and convict. I came to Skypoint straight from prison just trying to check the boxes for parole. While at Skypoint I got myself all the way together and my whole outlook on life changed. Cecil and Christas iop class was the best class I have ever been in and the most helpful. It is a program with a lot of potential but currently some of the biggest issues it is currently dealing with and has been for sometime now inspite of noumrus complaints and grevinces from clients is a serve and on going lack of communication between staff and no attempt being made to actively correct that which causes constant confusion for clients who as a result are almost never able to receive accurate information about anything needed to accomplish things within the program like figuring out what meetings are when and w... read more
Skypoint changed my life forever. Cecil forever changed the way i think and process life. Im forever grateful. Awesome facility. Good housing. Good staff. Good medical people. All around good program i would recommend it to anyone whose ready to make a change in their life
Although there were ups and downs skypoints staff went above and beyond to make sure I was set up for success when leaving. I cant thank Ed, Cecil, tori, Cassidy, Kristy and ms didi and all the medical staff enough. Also staff members like Jamie, Jade, Rob and the list goes on are there to help and support in a heartbeat. Ms Sandy is an angel. And the things cecil taught me will forever change my life not just my disease but every aspect of my life.
Went to program for help way from Columbus. My son had an accident at home so I called from the neighbors phone to check in at home for my son that was in a car accident. They took the neighbors phone seen that I called my son kicked us both out left me stranded in Akron can’t get back to my kids haven’t ate in days and I’m from Columbus 2 hours away all my clothes been stolen they left me with all my stuff and no where to go in akron
