As many others have mentioned. Beware. After showing up 45min late for his scheduled time, this company did not do a fair appraisal of our home. Not only were we shocked by their value coming in $28,000 below asking price, so were both realtors AND the buyers lender. None of these professionals could understand how the appraisal could come in that low when 2 of the comps used were above our asking price, and the one that was used that was below our asking price didn’t come close to being comparable, given it was 1000 sq ft l... read more
UPDATE: They still are off by a mile. Beware you guys. Stay far away or change your options on what bank you go through. Save your self the headache. The people that work at Skyline Appraisals are coming in very low. According to many real estate agents here in town, they are off by a minimum of 60k in comps. In my scenario off by a lot more. My wife is a real estate agent and has been for a long time along with my direct neighbor that is also a real estate agent and has the same type of home but evaluated for 75k more. Does... read more
They still haven't fixed the problem with values. Still off by 100k. Ridiculous. Stay far away from these guys.
The people that work at Skyline Appraisals are coming in very low. According to many real estate agents here in town, they are off by a minimum of 60k in comps. In my scenario off by a lot more.
