We came upon this restaurant by accident while visiting Savannah. The food was excellent. I think they were short on wait staff. We were there for lunch. The crab cake and fried shrimp were delicious as well as the rice and vegetables.
Went today with coworkers for lunch and we had the worst experience. A table of women came in after us, the waitress went to take their orders. We had to notify them we had already been there and we needed our orders taken. Needless to say we still did not receive our orders however the ladies who came in after us received their food and we were still waiting. So we waited an hour of our lunch break with only drinks and were never served. This was the worst service ever and no one took the time to rectify this situation.

A hidden gem that we have loved for many years! Great lunch specials and I highly suggest the crab cakes and teriyaki chicken. Mrs Moon is the sweetest!
We chose Skyler’s for my dad’s surprise 50th birthday dinner and I am so very glad that I did!! Mrs. Moon was accommodating during the planning and the evening of the event. Her staff was very pleasant, courteous, and available from start to finish to a crowd of about 40 guests. The choices for the buffet included a variety of meats and sides for our choosing. We've always had great food and service in the past, but we were very disappointed this last visit. After making arrangements in advance for a group of ladies for lunch, we were in a room with two ROUND tables put together. We only had ONE waitress to take our orders. They didn't have the Teriyaki chicken. I asked for cold slaw and was served grilled onions and carrots instead. She thought I'd be ok with that since they were out of the cold slaw too.
