Came here to get an amp repaired. They did an excellent job, and charged less than the estimate they'd given me. The staff are efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. There's a wide range of gorgeous vintage stereo gear in the shop, too. ***** Highly recommended.
My boyfriend and I have been considering upgrading to a quality system for months now. We had followed along with the Skylabs Facebook page seeing the cool vintage pieces Kevin gets in. We came in just to browse and left with a set of speakers. We have spent weeks looking for systems at expensive "high end" shops. We spent about 15 minutes here and left with quality speakers at a fraction of the cost of other stores. The salesman (possibly the owner) didn't try to push us into anything we didn't show interest in and made us feel like we were with a friend. He seemed to be more concerned with making us happy rather than making a sale. If we ever need any repairs or equipment we won't hesitate to return.
Just bought a console stereo from Skylabs. The owner was very personable, knowledgeable, and clearly very passionate about vintage equipment. He gave me a fantastic deal on the Telefunken I bought. Will definitely keep my eye on thier inventory in the future. Can't go wrong with Skylabs.
Great shop. I purchased a piece that had a slow turn table. He came to my house, picked up the table, and fixed it! Will buy more from him thanks to his service and quality.
