Took my beloved Marantz 2265b in to be cleaned, they also fixed the selector switch. Extremely fair price and Amazing job, it sounds perfect. Now I have the itch to upgrade my vintage speakers. Good record selection. From Leon Russell's Hank to Mudhoney to Rust Never Sleeps to John Lennon's Rock n Roll and Darkness on the Edge of Town I was impressed! Great stop I'll be back! Kevin is knowledgable and kind - he was very helpful assisting my friend to successfully purchase his first vintage component - patiently discussing the pros and cons of different units, explaining the underlying technology, and assisting with listening tests to allow customers to decide for themselves using their ears. Sadly, my dear sweet Advent 300 was DOA, after many decades of service, even with the skills at Skylabs. But Kevin hooked me up with a great little Technics receiver that does the trick. Now Advent 300 is retro decor and I have tunes again!
We brought our Marantz 2275 in to be worked on and we couldn't be happier. It sounds great again! If you need a vintage component repaired we highly recommend Skylabs. Thanks again Kevin and Rob!
